Since in Italy there are around 300,000 HCV undiagnosed patients and 100,000 HCV diagnosed patients but unlinked to care, “Una Malattia con la C” project aimed to raise awareness of the population on Hepatitis C, by informing it about risk factors and prevention, promoting access to free screening and reinforcing the linkage to care. Hep C, if not treated, can lead to liver cancer.
